Your deck will be professionally cleaned and sealed by Deck Care LLC. This is a two-stage process. Stage one can be completed during most any weather condition, except in very cold weather. First, we apply a cleaning solution and then pressure wash the top layer of wood, that time and weather have taken advantage of. The cleaner itself will bring out the natural wood tone color of your deck. After the cleaning process, we allow the wood to dry completely, usually a day or two. Once the deck is dry, and no rain is expected for at least 24 hours, the final stage of your deck restoration begins by applying the sealer. We apply a first rate product that goes into the wood and helps prevent your deck from cracking, splitting and bowing. It also provides UV protection from the long hot summer sun.

Please allow your deck to dry for at least 24 hours before use. After the curing period, your deck should puddle or bead up like a freshly waxed new car. The sealant should last from one to two years depending on the amount of use and location of your deck (direct sunlight, trees, etc.). Once you notice water beginning to seep into the wood of your deck, it is time for another service from Deck Care LLC to protect your investment.

Care and cleaning of your deck will increase the life of your deck sealer. You should occasionally wash your deck with mild soap and water. Harsh detergents, acids, motor oil, salt and drippings from outdoor grills will break down your sealant.

We provide all material necessary for the restoration of your deck except for water and electricity.
